How do I book a trade?

This article applies to clients using the Standard service only. If you are making use of the Premium service you will not be able to access the trade functionality as we book your trades for you. Please follow the steps below to book a trade:

  1. In the client portal navigate to ‘Transact’ on the left menu and click ‘Book Trade’ to open the trade booking form. After a few seconds, your current account balance will appear.
  2. Enter the amount that you’d like to trade including the R500 SWIFT fee. This amount cannot exceed your approved trade size.
  3. Select whether this trade will fall under your SDA or FIA. If you select FIA you’ll be requested to upload the TCS PIN letter.
  4. Proceed to upload the unaltered TCS PIN letter in PDF format as issued by SARS. We do not accept scanned documents or PIN letters obtained by a 3rd party.
  5. If you’ve withdrawn your trading capital from your account since your last trade, upload a transaction history of your funding account showing the outgoing transaction to your trading account.
  6. Accept the disclosure and proceed click ‘Submit’

Trades booked after 08:30 will only be processed the following business day.
